I was camping in Colorado last week and was playing around with my SLR. I was taking high shutter speed photos trying to stop a hummingbird's wings in flight. Later as I was looking through the photos to my amazement I saw this!

This was taken this past weekend at Lake Whitney State Park, Texas. It rained alot this weekend and you can see that from the brownish water by the shoreline. We discovered this little piece of shoreline and spent 5 minutes there before the approaching stormed dumped more heavy rain on us. It was a fun camping weekend.

Here's the last bloomin flower photo I will post this spring. Our lilac bush has alot of flowers on it this year (the most its ever had in over 8 years). The purple flowers are really nice to look at and have been attracting butterflies.

This was taken in 1992 when I went to Costa Rica to visit a friend. In the little town of Zarcero, Costa Rica, there is a little red and white church. There are all of these beautifully trimmed bushes in many different shapes.

Our kite. We take this kite with us every year to Port Aransas, TX, and fly it on the beach. The wind on the beach always seems to be strong and steady and perfect for flying kites.
